Two large bay windows that required just a rub down and repaint.
Concrete screed floor painted in grey. Note the high gloss finish to the paint. Unfortunately whoever put the screed on the floor didn’t get a very good finish so it shows through the paint. Three coats of paint were applied in total.
Front porch area refurbished. Walls were painted firstly with Coovar anti damp paint. After this a miss coat of emulsion was applied then a washable emulsion to finish the walls. The window frames were painted with primer, full undercoat and a white gloss top coat.
This bathroom was tiled half height already. The ceiling was painted in white bathroom paint and the beautiful stained glass critall window was renovated. The tiles were then extended to ceiling height and the woodwork was painted in a white gloss finish.
Window frames refurbished. Although the windows are upvc the frames are timber and were painted in a dull green colour. They were stripped and repainted with aluminium primer, full undercoat and a white gloss top coat.
The bay window needed woodwork replaced which was carried out by Southampton Carpentry. This left bare wood which needed the attention of Southampton Painting. The condition was very poor and once the old paint was removed large areas of rotten timber was revealed. This meant that the old facia board needed to be removed and replaced. Crittall Window refurbishment in Salisbury: These windows are a feature of the property and needed a full refurbishment. After a careful preparation and primer, undercoat and a specialist topcoat they have been restored to their former glory. The solid oak front doors were stripped back to wood and stained and then varnished.
The two pictures show how poor the conservatory looked before renovation.
